When students decide to bring in their art that is created outside of the art room, especially this piece that was drawn by a 5th grader in SPAIN over the summer, we like to call this an ACTION item.... and we LOVE it!!!!

 This 7th grader is surely aspiring to be a FASHION DESIGNER when he grows up! <3

"LIFE IS A GREAT BIG CANVAS, THROW ALL THE PAINT ON IT YOU CAN!"

And don't forget to ask yourself, "How am I CARING?" through out October & beyond!

Peace, Love, & Books! Scholastic Book Fair Fun

The theme of this spring's book fair was Peace, Love, & Books, so what better way to pump up the hallways than with peace signs & hearts! The students had a blast collaborating with each other & so did I. :)

Sorry for the lack of posts recently! Between the book fair art and getting ready for Beauty & The Beast JR. there has been a lot going on, but its all in good fun!! Here is a couple of fun images from earlier in the month..
